Prizes

Energy by Design is committed to rewarding its contest winners with prizes consistent with the mission of energy efficiency and savings.

• A grand prize and three finalists are selected in each category, grades K-2, 3-5 and 6-8.
• All prizes will be awarded at the winner’s school. Place, time and venue will be determined on an individual basis.
• Winners will be notified on or about March 28, 2008.
• Grand prize winners in each grade category will receive:
• $1,000 savings bond.
• Pizza party for their class.
• Prize pack filled with fun, age-appropriate prizes.
• Congratulatory plaque recognizing the student, to be displayed within their school.
• The three finalists in each category will receive:
• $250 savings bond.
• Pizza party for their class
• Prize pack filled with fun, age appropriate prizes.
• Congratulatory plaque recognizing the student, to be displayed within their school.
• The winning teacher in each category will receive a classroom grant of $1,000 and a congratulatory plaque.
