Entries will be judged on how effectively they communicate the theme of energy efficiency and the visual presentation of that idea.

Entries will be divided into three categories, grades K-2, 3-5, and 6-8 and will be evaluated by a panel of judges comprised of independent educators, selected experts and NEF and Nicor employees. Judging will be on a 25 point system, and awarded as follows:

1. Poster entry demonstrates artistic, original and creative work. 10 points.
2. Poster entry communicates a clear energy efficiency theme or message. 10 points.
3. Student Reflection included on this entry form. (Limit 40 words) 5 points.

Teachers of the grand prize award winners in each grade category will receive the teacher award.

By entering this contest, entrants agree to be bound by the decisions of the judges which are final.

Notification

Prize winners will be notified on or around March 26, 2012.
